Join the hundy club by paying around a hundy a month over 7 months.


Your first payment will be taken on registration, with equal payments made monthly for the following 6 months.

  • NZIPP Members (excluding regional) Total price paid = $700
  • AIPA/PSNZ members Total price paid= $800
  • Non members and NZIPP regional members Total price paid= $900
  • Join NZIPP and Buy a member ticket Total price paid = $963.


Tickets purchased using this option incur a further $100 administration fee compared to tickets purchased up front. Your payment will be automatically deducted monthly from your account using the same payment method you used to sign up. Failure to complete full payment of tickets prior to the event will result in non-admittance until any outstanding amounts are paid.

What you’ll get with your Hundy Club 2-day ticket:

  • 2-day access to the New Zealand Photography Show, held in Christchurch at the Majestic on Durham, 189 Durham St South, Christchurch on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd August 2024.
  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea included on Friday and Saturday.
  • Invitation to attendee-only events.
  • Access to trade show and exhibition.


How it works:

We have a new, exciting format for 2024. After opening with our keynote speaker, we’ll have a variety of workshops for you to choose from. Workshops cover a large variety of photography genres and skills, including business, photoshop, photography, printing and more.

In mid 2024 when the schedule is available of workshops, you will be sent a link to register for the workshops of your choice. The access to book the workshops will be tiered, based on your ticket purchase date.

  • Buy your ticket between 6th December to 13th December 2023, and you will have priority access to book your workshops spots first – you’ll have 24 hours before the second group. 
  • Book your ticket between 13th December 2023 and 31 January 2024, and you will have the second opportunity to book your workshop selections – 24 hours after priority access ticket holders.
  • Book your ticket from 1st February 2024, and you will have third workshop ticket options, with the ability to book your workshops 48 hours after priority ticket holders. 


In addition to the conference program, we also hold the following events:


  • New Zealand’s only Professional Photography Awards. It is FREE to come and watch the live judging of the Iris Awards at the Majestic on Durham, 189 Durham St South, Christchurch from Tuesday 30th July 2024 – Thursday 1st August 2024. The category judging schedule is released closer to the time. Keep your eye out for the rules release for 2024 at



  • A great way to really get the most out of your week in Christchurch. This is held on Sunday 4th August 2024 and offers in-depth workshops in a variety of genres out and about in Christchurch. Workshops range from 2 hours to 6 hours. *Please note, masterclass workshops are not included in your conference ticket. Additional costs apply to attend workshops on this day. A full schedule of available masterclass workshops will be released in 2024. Only those who hold a conference ticket will be able to book masterclass workshops.



  • The NZIPP Gala Dinner is the end event, which sells out annually. This is a great way to celebrate photography and photographers, with NZIPP awards and Iris Awards Winners announced during the gala. Held in a secret location in 2024, we will be releasing tickets for this fun and glitzy event in early 2024.  *Please note, Gala Dinner tickets are not included in your conference ticket.


All tickets purchased and payments towards ticket purchases are NON REFUNDABLE. We have a very stringent policy in place. If you purchase a ticket in any of our sales, please do not ask for a refund. Purchase of a ticket is acceptance of these terms and conditions. We suggest investigating domestic travel insurance options and putting the in place in case you may need to cancel your trip.

You may onsell your ticket to someone of the same ticket tier as you but must notify NZIPP of the name change as soon as possible. I.e: If you are an NZIPP member you may sell your ticket to an NZIPP member. You cannot onsell your member ticket to a non member.

Please print your emailed receipt following payment. Tickets will not be sent to you, but will be available at the front desk at New Zealand Photography Show, Majestic on Durham, Christchurch for collection from 30th July 2024.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea is included for the New Zealand Photography Show on both Friday and Saturday.

Additional charges apply to activities outside of the New Zealand Photography Show two-day conference. These include but are not limited to the cost to enter Iris Awards, Gala Dinner tickets (Gala Dinner 4th August 2024)  and Masterclass workshops (Sunday 4th August 2024).

The event management reserve the right to amend speaker selection at any time.

Late arrivals may result in non-admittance until a suitable break in performance.

Members Tickets:

Purchase of the New Zealand Photography Show tickets at Member rates, based on relevant Institute/Society/Association, is conditional on being a full financial member at both the time of purchase and time of attendance at the event. The non-member rate will apply and any difference invoiced and payable if respective membership is not maintained.

NZIPP Regional Members need to purchase the regional member ticket.
