IRIS AWARDS
The Iris Professional photography awards are judged live at the Majestic on Durham in Christchurch on Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th August 2026. It is free to come in and watch the judging. Entry to the Iris Awards opens in 2026. Details for the Iris Awards can be found at https://irisawards.com
WRAP PARTY
On the evening of 6th August, we host the Iris Awards Wrap Party. This is a fun event for everyone who has entered, watched, judged, or been involved in some way to get together and celebrate the end of the Iris Awards. We have a great time, and would love for you to join us. We also announce our category finalists at this event. Further details on the wrap party will be available closer to the time of the event.
NEW ZEALAND PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW
The New Zealand Photography Show, Sponsored by Sony, is held on 7th and 8th August 2026 at the Majestic on Durham. Our exciting speaker lineup is being announced now!. Your 2-day conference ticket gives you access to the sessions. We hold 3-4 sessions at one time across the venue.
MASTERCLASS WORKSHOPS
On Sunday 9th August, we hold masterclass workshops. There is an additional cost to attend to these workshops, however it is heavily subsidised for conference ticket holders. Workshop prices tend to range from free or little cost to $495.00 per person. Workshops usually finished by 3pm, to give attendees time to get ready for the Gala Awards Ceremony.
GALA AWARDS CEREMONY
On Sunday 9th August from early evening, we host the Gala Awards Ceremony, sponsored by CRK. This is a ticketed event, with tickets now on sale. We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating the best in New Zealand and Australian photography!
